Four Seasons Retreat is for the enjoyment of registered guest only. No visitors are allowed.

Check-in is between 4:00 pm and 8:00pm; if you require a late check-in, you must notify us  at the time of booking. Check-out is at 11:00 am.

No jumping, running, pushing or diving in the pool area.

Open 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM

Bathing suits only.

Please make sure your feet are free of sand and dirt before entering the water.

No smoking or vaping in the pool area.

No children in diapers/swim diapers are allowed in the Hot Tub.

DO NOT leave children unattended. The guest is 100% responsible for young children in the hot tub in case of any injuries.

Maximum six people permitted. No food can be consumed in the Hot Tub, and only beverages in plastic glasses or aluminum containers are permitted. Limited time in the hot tub (i.e. 15 minutes, less for children) is recommended, and lessens the chance of unintended hyperthermia, dehydration or skin irritation from the chemicals in the water. Do not leave the cover off when the hot tub is not being used.

Do not sit on the edges of the hot tub or the hot tub filter cover.

Do not jump or dive in the hot tub.

Do not use soaps or oils in the hot tub.

No water shoes are allowed in the hot tub.

Cottages must be left broom-clean and tidy, with dishes done, similar to the condition upon initial rental. Please do not strip the beds before your departure.

Any cottage that requires additional cleaning will be subject to an additional charge.

All cottage interiors are non-smoking, including all tobacco products, cannabis, and vaporizers. Smoking is permitted outside the cottage and a disposal receptacle is provided.

No housekeeping services are included. We will provide fresh towels upon request. Simply bring towels to the office before 11 am to exchange them.

Please do not flush anything other than toilet paper and human waste. We are on a septic system, and anything other than toilet paper may harm or clog the system.

Please do not bring red mud into the cottage. Nothing will remove the Fundy mud from our sheets and towels due to its oxidized iron content. If linens are stained, we must replace them.  You will be subject to additional charges for sheets or towels ruined by Fundy mud, make up or other non-removable stains.

Indoor furniture should not be removed or taken outside the cottage.

Outdoor fires are subject to the Government of Nova Scotia burn restrictions. If allowed, you must burn fires in the fire pit provided and fires are not to be left unattended at any time. Firewood is available for $15 per wheelbarrow load.

The Guest(s) understand that The Resort may charge his or her credit card after departure for damage to the property, any missing or broken items and/or for excessive cleaning fees, removal of strong scents, the washing of dishes, cutlery, and cookware, heavily stained linens and towels and late check-outs which are the responsibility of the guest.

We understand some people like to burn candles. However not everyone likes the same smell. Therefore we ask that there be no burning of candles inside the cottages.
